Not too bad...

Last weekend was great. I decided to stay at home and not move through Cairo (again). I stayed at my place and decided to spend all the weekend on my sunroof and the gold course. Not a bad decision I have to admit. I had to invest a lot of sweat to get my roof somehow usable. First all rubble had to be removed. Since they started to install the elevator all this stuff is lying on the roof. Before I will spent countless hours on the phone to get the lazy ass Egyptians to remove the stuff, I did it myself.

Remember the picture from last year about the pools? Well, nothing has changed there, too. They put water in the raw construction to see if ... Well I don't know... Maybe a water hose or pipe bust. Anyway, It was close to 30°C in the sun, so temptation was big. On the other hand all the rubbish and the nails on the ground around ... Well maybe next time

I also have a BBQ since two weeks and have used it already six or seven times. Best investment ever here. Put some wood and cardboard on it (lies everywhere around), some charcoal and you have your BBQ ready in 10 minutes. The wood is so dry, I will dry to ignite the BBQ next time without paper, wood only. LOL

Half a chicken during sun set (6pm though), plenty of cold beers and a nie few. Weekends are not too bad at the moment.

And it seems like I have found my next place to stay. They have finished the area on the other side of the street. It seems like water and electricity is connected, so I ll try to move over there next June. If the price is right, I ll have a garden, rooftop and so on for myself.

The Egyptians are starting to move in in my current area with increasing rate, so it is time to move on. You can tell by the rubbish pilling up, cars blowing the horn every five minutes and dog shit everywhere. It was so much better before they arrived and acted like vandals.
